Curt has 15 years experience bringing complex digital initiatives to life for well-known brands. Since the web’s inception, Curt has mentored teams of business analysts, information architects, and interaction designers toward the creation of digital experiences that surprise and delight users with their simplicity, while still making the needle move for his clients. To get these results, Curt has evolved into an expert facilitator, with well over 100 client and end-user worksessions under his belt. Whether it’s usability testing or stakeholder “work-outs”, Curt’s at his best when trying to elicit honest, unambiguous input from users and executives. He’s also a bit of a process “wonk,” always interested in optimizing and streamlining his team’s methodologies to bring solutions to market faster.
Over the years, Curt’s had the opportunity to develop web experiences for a variety of outstanding Fortune 500 brands, just some of which include General Motors, IBM, Merrill Lynch, Kodak, Delta Airlines, Legg Mason, and Time Warner Cable.
Prior to joining Brand, Curt held Vice President and Director roles within Digitas, Publicis and Modem Media where he focused on developing teams that would thrive in the then-nascent disciplines of Information Architecture and Interaction Design. Before the web, Curt worked at General Electric in IT leadership roles in Stamford, San Francisco, and Tokyo. Curt was also accepted into GE’s prestigious Information Management Leadership Program, from which he graduated after 3 years of study.
